The Med Peds Jobs Guide is a guide designed to help Med Peds residents navigate the job search and best prepare themselves for the post-residency job market. It is designed primarily for residents in their last year of residency.
The information was initially compiled by John Chamberlain, MD through the American Academy of Pediatrics Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Section. The first version was published in 2002 and updated in Spring 2010.
NMPRA (the National Med-Peds Residents’ Association) seeks to enhance the Med-Peds specialty by: supporting and promoting resident advancement and professional opportunities; creating national connections and opportunities for residents; increasing awareness of and advocating for med-peds as a specialty; and recruiting medical students in the specialty.
