Illinois: Hospitalist Physician Coverage

HIGHLIGHTS: Earn $400,000/year income! Privately managed Hospitalist Department. 7 on/off block schedule. 10hr shifts. Flexible short or long-term commitment options. Hospital also qualifies for loan repayment programs. Additional RVU income $ is also available to be earned. We can also consider someone who needs to get Licensed in Illinois for this opening (takes maybe 6-8 weeks).

ACCEPTED: A full-time Hospitalist Physician interested in working in Illinois capable of seeing all ages, ideally IM/PED or FM residency trained.

  • Facility is willing to teach/mentor a Physician on any particular practice areas they may not have had a lot of previous experience with!

TARGET START DATE: November/December 2023.

  • 2024 Start dates are also possible to consider.
  • Wednesday>Tuesday work weeks, every other week. 26 weeks of coverage per year.
  • 10hr day shifts, 7a-5p plus very light pager call on only 6x total days of the month.
  • Friendly Community Hospital setting in Eastern Illinois.
  • Full Travel options available for those who are not local to the area.
  • We have a better than average lodging arrangement included, Villa at Golf course with fridge, microwave.
  • Full med-mail with tail provided.
  • Can guarantee coverage dates and book out schedules many months in advance!
  • You can secure a 12 month, 24 month or even a 36 month contract for full-time interest/added practice stability/security.

This is NOT a “here today, gone tomorrow” Locums position. This is a long-term privately managed contract held by WesternHC for the next 3+ years.
