The Division of General Internal Medicine & Section Division of Med-Peds at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a Med-Peds primary care physician to anchor a satellite facility located in South Florida.

Our clinical practice takes place in the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics system and the Jackson Health system.  We are looking for candidates with proven clinical expertise in Med-Peds who are driven, creative, and enthusiastic with the ability to work effectively in a team environment for our new Med-Peds primary care practice located in Palmetto Bay.   

The Palmetto Bay practice is a new and dynamic primary care practice with a focus on UHealth employees and their families with Med-Peds physicians at its center.  The practice will offer expanded primary care services in conjunction with Pediatric and Adolescent gynecology and women’s health and obstetrics services.  The Med-Peds physician leaders will work with in conjunction with advanced practice providers to provide a modern primary care experience.

Candidate must have a medical degree, be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and must be eligible for a Florida medical license.  The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering care to patients in an academic medical center on a full-time basis and participate in a shared on-call schedule.
