Rochester: New York-Med-Peds Clinician Educator at the University of Rochester Medical Center

Due to a retirement, we have an opening for a Med-Peds clinician-educator to serve as preceptor and team lead at the ambulatory continuity site for the University of Rochester MedPeds Residency program.  This position is available to start on or about 7/1/23.

Responsibilities include:  Precepting and supervising med-peds residents, supervising medical students, participating in afternoon teaching, maintaining your own patient panel of adult and pediatric patients, and the option to round on admitted adults and newborns of the practice. 

Requirements:

  • Must possess an MD or equivalent and be board certified (or board eligible) in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
  • Must have NYS licensure (eventually)
  • Must be committed to working to be “Ever Better” while employing our I-Care values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence
