We are STILL accepting applications for the 2024-2025 NMPRA Executive Board for the following positions: President-Elect, Traditional Secretary, Public Relations Secretary, and Treasurer!

NMPRA is an outstanding organization for residents run by residents. By becoming an Executive Board officer, you will have the opportunity to work with other key Med-Peds organizations including the AAP Section on Med-Peds (SOMP) and the Med-Peds Program Directors’ Association (MPPDA). This is your chance to make a difference for your Med-Peds colleagues on a national level!

President-Elect/President/Past President (1 position, 3-year term)
Traditional Secretary (1-year term)
  • Time commitment: 2-4 hours/week, with increase to 6-8 hours/week in the month preceding the National Conference.

Public Relations Secretary (1-year term)
  • Time commitment: 2-4 hours/week, with increase to 6-8 hours/week in the month preceding the National Conference.

Treasurer (1-year term)
  • Time commitment: 3-5 hours/week, with increased time at national conference and in the Spring due to tax and budget duties.

How do you apply?

  • Short (300 words) description of your qualifications and desire to be considered for the position, which will be shared with all NMPRA members via the email listserv.
  • Updated curriculum vitae (CV).
  • A letter of good standing from your Program Director (PD).
Deadline to submit: June 2nd by 11:59 PM EST.
After applications are received, they will be compiled and shared with all NMPRA members for election via popular vote. Transitioning for all Board positions will begin shortly after elections with elected individuals to formally start in June 2024.
