We are happy to announce that we will be holding elections for executive board members for the 2018-2019 year and are now accepting applications to run for the positions of: President-Elect, Traditional Secretary, Public Relations Secretary, and Treasurer. After applications are received, the officers will be elected via popular vote of our membership..

NMPRA is an outstanding organization for residents run by residents. By becoming an officer, you will have the opportunity to work with other key Med-Peds organizations including the AAP Section of Med-Peds and MPPDA (Med-Peds Program Directors Association). This is your chance to make a difference for your fellow Med-Peds colleagues on a national level.

President-Elect/President/Immediate Past President  (1 position; 3-year term)

  • Time commitment: 2-10 hours/week with more time-intensive periods occurring near the national meeting.

Traditional Secretary (1-year term)

  • Time commitment: 2-4 hours/week, with increase to 6-8 hours/week in the month preceding the national conference.

Public Relations Secretary (1-year term)

  • Time commitment: 2-4 hours/week, with increase to 6-8 hours/week in the month preceding the national conference.

Treasurer (1 year term)

  • Time commitment: 3-5 hours/week, with increased time at national conference and during spring session with tax and budget duties.
