Cool Springs Internal Medicine & Pediatrics is growing and is seeking Internal Medicine-Pediatric physicians who are passionate about outpatient and inpatient primary care. We have offices in Franklin and Brentwood, Tennessee, both with room for an additional provider. One partner is in the process of forming a hospitalist group and will be exiting the practice, providing an opportunity for incoming providers to rapidly grow a patient base. Our practice is focused on high-quality evidence-based care. We enjoy taking care of patients in our offices, which are supported by in-office walk-in clinics overseen by our team of nurse practitioners. We also follow our patients in the local hospital, from the newborn nursery to the ICU.
In addition to collaborating together on difficult patient care decisions, we also work closely to run our business. Most decisions are made by consensus. We are a top-performing practice according to MGMA and within the IPA and ACO in which we participate. We are serious about supporting one another in following our passions, both in and out of the office. Everyone sets their own hours and is encouraged to have a full life away from the office and hospital. We believe we have created a healthy and supportive environment and are looking for like-minded partners.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Our practice currently has six physicians, all of whom share call equally. Typically, a call cycle is 3 weekend days or 4 weekdays in length. While on call, physicians answer calls from outpatients as well as admitting our patients to the local medical center. An average night of call is often 0 – 2 calls on weeknights and 2-8 calls per 24-hours on weekends. On-call admissions to the hospital are rare on weekdays, and approximately 1 – 2 per day on weekends.
